Mechanical Design Engineer
Brixworth
Up to £510 per day Inside IR35
NX Design Engineer is required to work with a high-performance engineering organisation operating at the forefront of advanced powertrain technology, delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
The business brings together world-class engineering talent to design, develop and validate cutting-edge mechanical systems and components.
You will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions from clean-sheet design through to end-of-life support, including the detailed design of complex components and systems.
Apply engineering fundamentals to deliver robust designs, solve complex problems, and ensure manufacturability, quality, and performance.
Skills
- 3D CAD design software – NX
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Hybrid and electrical vehicle systems.
- Experience in detailed mechanical component design and electrical system packaging.
- Deeper understanding of at least one field of electric machines, inverters or battery systems.
