Calibration Engineer is required to work with a high-performance engineering organisation operating at the forefront of advanced powertrain technology, delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The business brings together world-class engineering talent to design, develop and validate cutting-edge mechanical systems and components.
You will be responsible for conducting rig, dyno and vehicle testing of powertrain systems to support calibration, characterisation, development and validation activities. Analysed complex test data, developed calibration strategies and in-house analysis tools, and delivered clear recommendations to improve performance, drivability, compliance and product reliability.
Skills:
- Experience of Engine Calibration processes.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines, turbocharging and hybrid systems.
- Data analysis skills using packages such as Concerto, INCA, MDA, CANape, WinDarab, RaceCon, Excel, Matlab and Simulink.
- Knowledge of hybrid powertrain test facilities.
- Experience of the powertrain contribution to vehicle.
