Junior User Researcher - GDS / Public Sector projects i O Associates is working with a UK Public Sector consultancy to bring on 2 x Junior User Researchers for two GDS projects.
Active SC Clearance is desirable and successful applicants must be eligible to gain SC Clearance if required (minimum of 5 years of continuous UK residency).
Experience working in GDS aligned projects within a Central Government Departments & Agencies setting is essential.
- Experience supporting user research activities across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including planning, recruitment, moderation, note-taking, analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding of the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard and user-centred design principles, with an ability to apply GDS research methods appropriately.
- Ability to conduct and support qualitative research using methods such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual enquiry, with guidance from senior researchers.
- Experience synthesising research findings into clear, evidence-based insights and communicating recommendations to multidisciplinary teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in agile, multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate research documentation.
