Associate Director – Airport Planning Location: Epsom / London | Hybrid Sector: Aviation & Infrastructure What if your next role gave you the opportunity to help shape how some of the world's airports grow? I'm working with a leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy that is looking for an experienced Associate Director – Airport Planning to join its established and expanding aviation team. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, airport masterplanning, strategic advisory, client management and business development. What you'll be leading: Airport masterplanning & development Capacity modelling & demand forecasting Terminal, airfield, apron & landside planning Surface access & transport planning Senior client & stakeholder engagement Bids, tenders & business development Leadership, mentoring & multidisciplinary teams You'll have the opportunity to work across major UK airports and international aviation programmes, providing strategic advice and leading complex commissions from concept through delivery. We're looking for someone with: Strong airport planning/masterplanning experience Experience with airport capacity assessment/modelling Understanding of airside, terminal & landside environments Proven senior client and stakeholder management Experience leading complex consultancy projects A track record in business development/work winning Knowledge of CAA / ICAO / IATA / EASA standards VISSIM, VISUM or AutoCAD experience would be advantageous.
