I have an urgent role for a Linux Engineer holding active eDV Clearance on a contract basis. You'll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and improving Linux-based systems across development and production environments.

Rate: Up to £650/day Outside IR35

Location: Gloucester

Contract Length: 12 months

Key responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Linux Servers and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot system, network, and performance issues
  • Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or similar tools
  • Support deployments, security updates, and system monitoring
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL)
  • Knowledge of Scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, networking, and security best practices
  • Experience with monitoring and configuration management tools
