About the Role

We are seeking a proactive
DevSecOps Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Erlang and Elixir
, ideally holding SC, MOD DV, or UK*C DV clearance. The client would also consider exceptional candidates who are eligible for those clearances.

This role involves securing and automating complex application and platform environments, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and working closely with development teams to embed security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Erlang/Elixir applications.
• Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows and pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor, analyse, and optimise system performance and security compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, automation).
• Hands-on programming experience with Erlang and Elixir.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

Nice to Have

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
