iO Associates are working with an established and rapidly growing software consultancy who are looking for a .NET Developer to join them on a permanent basis. They specialise in the design and manufacture of automated electrical test equipment used across the aerospace, defence, rail and automotive industries. Due to continued growth and investment in their engineering software capabilities, they are looking for the right person to join the team.

They're open to considering developers at varying levels of experience - whether you're a Mid/Senior Developer with recent WPF experience, or a Junior Developer with solid .NET fundamentals and a genuine desire to learn WPF and desktop application development. This is an exciting opportunity to work on robust, maintainable software solutions that support critical engineering workflows, whilst being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

We're keen to speak with developers who have:

  • Commercial experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience developing desktop applications, or an interest in moving into desktop development
  • Recent WPF experience (for Mid/Senior candidates), or a willingness to learn WPF (for Junior candidates)
  • An understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of MVVM and secure development practices would be beneficial, but not essential
