Senior Platform Engineer Location: South-West (Hybrid - 3 days on-site) Security: Must be eligible for UK SC Clearance Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum We're partnering with an innovative technology organisation that's investing heavily in its engineering platform and looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help shape the tools and infrastructure that enable high-performing development teams. This is an opportunity to work on modern platform technologies, improving developer experience through automation, self-service capabilities, and scalable infrastructure while collaborating with software, infrastructure, security, and AI teams. What you'll be doing: Designing and building scalable platform services and infrastructure Developing self-service tooling and automated deployment workflows Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code Supporting cloud and container-based platforms using Kubernetes and Docker Improving observability, reliability, and security across the platform Contributing to API-driven integrations and reusable platform capabilities Working closely with engineering teams to enhance developer productivity Requirements: Experience building and operating cloud or platform infrastructure Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices Software engineering skills to build platform tooling and automation An understanding of secure, scalable, and reliable platform design A collaborative engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and enabling others to succeed If you're passionate about platform engineering and want to play a key role in building the foundations that power modern software delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
