Interesting contract opportunity just landed within the Higher Education space. Working with a consultancy supporting a major university transformation programme who are looking for a delivery-led Enterprise Architect to come in and help bring structure, clarity and momentum across a live workstream.

This isn't a purely advisory architecture role. They need someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, proactively engaging stakeholders, driving governance/processes and helping shape recommendations where the client doesn't yet fully know the answer themselves. A big part of the role is around bringing practical architecture governance into a complex environment rather than sitting at a distance producing strategy decks.

The kind of experience they are looking for:

  • Enterprise Architecture within complex organisations
  • Governance / TDA processes
  • Architecture standards & operating processes
  • Application catalogues & practical architecture artefacts
  • Strong stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable working closely with PMO and delivery teams
  • Someone proactive and delivery-focused
  • Higher Education experience would be a big plus.

Outside IR35. Initially around 2 days/week. ASAP start. Initial contract through to end of August.
