I’m looking for a hands‑on Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the modernisation of an application delivery platform, with a key focus on migrating workloads from Docker Compose to Kubernetes. This is a delivery‑focused contract role requiring someone who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp‑up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate containerised applications from Docker Compose to Kubernetes
  • Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
  • Implement DevSecOps and software supply chain security controls, including SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets detection, and image signing
  • Improve deployment automation, release reliability, rollback, and traceability
  • Troubleshoot CI/CD and Kubernetes deployment issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years’ experience in DevSecOps or Platform Engineering, with DevSecOps as your primary focus
  • Strong hands‑on Kubernetes and Docker experience; k3s experience preferred
  • Proven experience migrating workloads from Docker Compose to Kubernetes
  • Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps plus GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
  • Solid Linux, scripting, and automation experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
