iO Associates are partnered with a growing SME in their search for an experienced Azure Security Engineer with Active SC Clearance to join their expanding Cloud & Security practice. This is a permanent role based in Gloucester, offering a mix of client-facing project work and internal security responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage security solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365
- Implement and manage the Microsoft Defender suite
- Work with Microsoft Purview, including Information Protection and Data Lifecycle Management
- Secure Azure platform services and infrastructure
- Provide security guidance and best practice to clients and internal teams
- Support incident response and security improvement programmes
- Contribute to internal security strategy and technical roadmaps
Skills & Experience
- Microsoft Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps etc.)
- Microsoft Purview and Information Protection
- Data governance and lifecycle management
- Microsoft 365 security architecture
- General Azure platform security services
- Implementing and managing enterprise security controls
