Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Lead the specification, design, and construction of HIL systems for testing satellite thruster electronics.
  • Develop and implement software scripts and tools to conduct comprehensive hardware and embedded software testing.
  • Collaborate with software, control, electronics, and satellite teams to develop electronic thruster simulation models.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle of HIL systems, including procurement, integration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure testing processes adhere to industry standards and best practices, including high-voltage and real-time system considerations.
  • Document system designs, test procedures, and results to support continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Proven track record in designing and developing HIL test systems within the aerospace or high-tech sectors.
  • Hands‑on experience with national instruments, SpeedGoat, dSPACE, or similar HIL systems.
  • Strong understanding of electronics design, high-voltage systems, and power electronics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++, with experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of test automation, real-time systems, and industry standards like ECSS.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
