About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a market-leading healthcare data services provider. As they enter an exciting phase of growth, they are looking for a client-facing Data Migration Consultant to join their high-performing delivery team. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical consultant for internal and external stakeholders, managing the safe, compliant, and end-to-end migration of complex clinical and operational data from legacy environments into modern platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Act as a core technical point of contact for the end clients, running workshops and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Data Profiling & Mapping: Analyse and understand source data structures within legacy healthcare systems to design robust transformation, cleansing, and validation strategies.
- Solution Delivery: Support the development of ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure absolute data integrity and clinical safety compliance.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify, triage, and resolve intricate data quality issues during active migration phases.
- Project Governance: Provide technical delivery estimates, track progress, and manage risks effectively for internal and external stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- Healthcare Domain Expertise: Extensive experience working with major healthcare systems (such as PAS, EPRs, Lab, LIMS, Theatre, or Order Comms).
- Technical Strength: Advanced SQL / T-SQL experience, with deep knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Consultative Approach: Strong background in a customer-facing or consultancy capacity, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Work Style: A structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
