Role Summary
Due to the upcoming completion of a new build waste to energy plant, our client is seeking multiple Electrical Commissioning Engineers to support the commissioning phase of the project. This role is of strategic importance as it will ensure the successful and efficient operation of the plant upon completion. The opportunity offers exciting challenges and the chance to be at the forefront of sustainable energy technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical commissioning activities on the plant
- Implement Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures
- Collaborate with instrument technicians at various levels
- Utilise HV and LV expertise as required
- Provide support for individuals with SAP experience
- Adhere to site operating hours and potential increases closer to project deadlines
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning within industrial settings
- Proficiency in LOTO and PTW processes
- Familiarity with HV and LV systems
- SAP experience is highly advantageous
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in waste to energy or similar industries
- Certification in relevant electrical engineering practices
- Knowledge of CIS systems
