eDV Data Architect x 2
Location: London (predominantly on-site with WFH where possible)
Contract Type: Outside IR35 or Permanent
Rate: £650 – £700 per day Outside IR35
Salary: Flexible DOE – happy to consider all levels of seniority/ experience
Start Date: ASAP (but will strongly consider candidates with a 3-month notice if they have the right clearance and experience)

iO Associates is proud to be supporting a consultancy client in the UK Security industry who has been asked to bring in 2 x Data Archtiects for a programme that they are heavily involved with.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects that have a significant impact on national security and will help to bring together all 4 corners of government.
About the Role:
The successful candidates will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business and ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data architecture solutions, including data models, data flow diagrams, and data management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
- Identify and mitigate data-related risks and issues.
- Communicate data architecture strategies, updates, and any changes to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect
- Must already hold active eDV Clearance to be considered for the role.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CDMP) are a plus.
