Software Test Engineer Opportunity

About the Role: We are a fast-growing start-up operating in Gloucestershire, Manchester, and London within the Defence and Cyber Security industries. As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our technology team.

What We're Looking For: We are looking for professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies:

  • Programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Front-end frameworks: Angular, React, Vue
  • Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
  • Ecosystems: MERN, Elasticsearch, Neo4J
  • Testing tools: Robot, Cypress, Cucumber
  • Framework creation and exploratory testing

Additional Requirements: Due to the nature of the role, applicants must:

  • Be a UK citizen and have lived in the UK for the past 10 years.
  • Be eligible to hold high-level security clearance.
  • Be willing to travel to customer sites in Gloucestershire and Manchester as needed.

Salary Range: £40,000-£70,000, depending on experience - However we are also happy to take on contract work, with a rate of £550-£650 p/d inside IR35.
