My client, a growing Consultancy routed in Defence & Intelligence, are looking for a number of individuals to join their DevOps Engineering team due to continued growth within the business.
You will be leading the design and implementation of DevOps tooling within a highly secure environment, as well as being involved in shaping the technical strategy and implementation across departments.
Rate: £550 - £650 / day Inside IR35
Location: Gloucestershire (3-4 days / week)
Contract Length: 12 months (+ extensions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using modern tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate processes across testing, deployment, and monitoring to improve system reliability and team productivity.
- Manage, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure seamless DevOps integration across the delivery lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD workflows.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with DevOps tooling and Public Cloud environments (AWS).
- Hands-on experience with IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation etc.).
- Experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Proficiency with scripting/programming in Python, Java, JavaScript or similar.
You will be required on-site in Gloucestershire 3-4 days per week (flexible on timings), and must hold active eDV Clearance to be considered.
