Due to the critical nature of the opportunity, you must be available to start within 2 weeks and hold active DV Clearance.
What you'll be doing:
- Build, configure and support a secure infrastructure environment (hands-on delivery, not just design).
- Stand up and configure lab environments for testing, validation and change implementation.
- Deliver and support VMware environments (incl. VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) where applicable).
- Support core Microsoft services including Active Directory and associated back-office platforms.
- Operate and maintain enterprise tooling such as SCOM and SCCM (monitoring, management, patching/packaging where relevant).
- Work into security-enforced infrastructure: hardening, compliance-driven configuration, and secure ops.
- Interface with network and security components (firewalls, routing/switching, segmentation, policy enforcement) to ensure a resilient end-to-end service.
Key technologies (what we want to see):
- VMware (strong depth), ideally including VCF;
- Microsoft Active Directory + Windows platform + general Microsoft back-office applications.
- SCOM / SCCM.
- Broad infrastructure/security awareness: firewalls, networking fundamentals, security enforcement / hardening.
- HashiCorp tooling (e.g., Vault/Terraform) desirable.
