We're hiring an Electronics Engineer to join an established engineering team developing new products and technologies for spacecraft applications. You'll contribute across the full electronics design lifecycle - from component selection and schematic capture through simulation, test, and supporting PCB design.

What you'll be doing:

  • Electronic circuit design for space-focused products/technology
  • Device selection and trade-off evaluation
  • Schematic capture and design development
  • Producing detailed design documentation
  • Circuit simulation and testing/verification
  • Providing engineering input into PCB design

Essential skills & experience:

  • 1st class degree in Electronics Engineering (or closely related) or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong practical experience in electronic design
  • Minimum 2 years' industrial experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision, and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Good mathematical skills

Desirable (nice-to-have) experience:

  • Spacecraft electronics design exposure
  • High-speed circuit design
  • FPGA power supply design
  • Digital signal and image processing
  • Communications system design
  • Integration of processing devices with high data-rate communications peripherals
  • Electronic system-level design
  • Designing for high reliability / high availability

Additional information:

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience
