Design Engineer
Hybrid in Bristol (3 days/week)
Up to £45 per hour

A Design Engineer is required to work with a global engineering and consulting group specializing in delivering advanced solutions across aerospace, defense, automotive, and rail industries. With a strong presence in over nine countries and known for its expertise in aircraft interiors, cockpit systems, and mobility technologies, it supports sustainable and high-value engineering programs worldwide.
As a Design Engineer, you will have a shared responsibility in the design of structural aircraft and helicopter components, working in all phases of a programme, starting with the conceptual phase and work on the integration of all requirements and input from other engineering disciplines into the conceptual and detailed design.
Requirements:
- Strong experience designing composite structures (lightweight, high-strength materials used in aviation).
- Familiarity with tools that help with composite design (CPD/FiberSim).
- Background in aerospace design, especially structural elements.
