Our client is a leading international professional services organisation currently investing heavily in data, analytics, and AI.
Having successfully established Microsoft Fabric as the foundation of their modern data platform, they are now delivering a wide range of enterprise data products and are looking for a Data Engineer to support the next phase of their data transformation journey.
Working within a growing Data & Insight team, you will play a hands-on role in building scalable data solutions, supporting business-critical reporting and analytics, and helping drive best practices across the organisation.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Data Engineer who can contribute technically whilst also providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
- Work across Fabric technologies including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, and Power BI.
- Support data quality, governance, monitoring, and production support activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD and Dev Ops-driven delivery processes.
- Collaborate with Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
- Support the ongoing modernisation of the organisation's data platform.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Fabric .
- Strong SQL, data modelling, and ETL/ELT development experience.
- Experience working within CI/CD and Dev Ops environments.
- Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Experience building reusable and scalable data frameworks.
- Understanding of data quality, monitoring, governance, and production support.
Python and/or Py Spark experience.
• Experience with Spark Notebooks.
- SSIS and SSRS experience.
- Experience within professional services or legal environments.
