Freelance/Contract SAP ABAP Developer (E-Invoicing) - Remote - Europe

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to provide on-demand development and support services across SAP landscapes. The successful consultant will support enhancement, integration, compliance, and maintenance activities, working closely with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. A key focus of this role will be supporting Poland eInvoicing (KSeF) requirements, including integration development, XML processing, compliance validation, and submission management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
- Develop and support integrations using IDocs, RFCs, OData services, APIs, and web services.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
- Support SAP enhancement and compliance initiatives, including country-specific regulatory requirements.
- Perform technical analysis, impact assessments, and root cause investigations.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documentation, and support materials.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
