Overview
We are supporting a global organisation delivering legislative SAP payroll support to clients running SAP ECC outside of standard vendor support. They require a true Spanish Payroll expert (PY-ES) - someone who understands how legislation translates into SAP payroll configuration, not just a functional user. This role sits between business and technical, taking legislative requirements and applying them at system level.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Spanish payroll legislative updates within SAP ECC (PY-ES)
- Translate requirements into changes across tables, constants, thresholds, schemas and PCRs
- Maintain and adjust tax (IRPF), social security, and statutory calculations
- Work with ABAP teams to implement changes (functional lead)
- Ensure ongoing payroll compliance across client systems
Key Requirements
- Strong SAP ECC Payroll (PY) experience
- Proven expertise in Spanish Payroll (PY-ES)
- Deep understanding of:
- Tax tables, thresholds, and calculation logic
- Schemas and PCRs
