We are working with a well‑established, specialist insurance business looking to add a Junior Claims Handler to their UK claims team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines, EL and Lloyd’s claims, with responsibility for managing claims above delegated authority and supporting matters through to negotiation and settlement.

You’ll work closely with TPAs, internal stakeholders and senior claims leaders, while also getting involved in:

  • Portfolio oversight and trend analysis
  • Claims savings initiatives and negotiations
  • Complaints handling within regulatory guidelines
  • Due diligence support for new acquisitions
  • Commutations and buyback opportunities

Key requirements:

  • Good level of claims handling technical experience and knowledge
  • Understanding of PI / FI / D
