We're working with a specialist healthcare data consultancy that delivers complex NHS programmes focused on data migration and data archiving, often across large-scale EPR and LIMS environments. Due to continued growth and an expanding delivery pipeline, they are looking to add a Technical Project Manager into their Project Management function. This role will take ownership of multiple client-facing projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timelines and budget, while managing stakeholders across NHS organisations and third-party suppliers. This is a fully remote permanent opportunity, offering the chance to lead meaningful healthcare transformation programmes while working closely with highly experienced technical and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects across data migration and data archiving programmes (often involving EPRs and LIMS)
  • Build and maintain delivery plans, milestones and documentation (including RAID logs and highlight reporting)
  • Lead stakeholder management across NHS clients and third-party suppliers, ensuring clear comms and alignment
  • Track progress against scope, time and budget, escalating risks/issues and maintaining RAG status reporting
  • Produce and maintain project documentation aligned to PRINCE2 (project definitions, plans, highlight reports, etc.)
  • Coordinate internal workstreams and ensure teams are clear on responsibilities, dependencies and timelines
  • Manage project risk and mitigation, ensuring appropriate governance and escalation where needed
  • Support change control (change requests/CCNs), keeping delivery and stakeholders aligned
  • Oversee project closure activities, including lessons learned and completion of closure checklists
  • Support workshops/training with clients and help triage complex delivery/data issues as they arise

Skills:

  • Proven project management experience delivering software implementations into the NHS or wider healthcare networks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, confident working with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience running structured governance, reporting and documentation (RAID, highlight reports, plans, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of delivering data-focused projects (data migration / data management / archiving)
  • Confident managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a client-facing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
  • PRINCE2, MSP or similar project management qualification

Desirables:

  • Experience delivering NHS EPR data management programmes
  • Familiarity with clinical data environments and source systems (EPR, PAS, LIMS or similar)
  • Hands-on exposure to tools such as Microsoft Project and maintaining structured RAID/risk governance
  • Advanced SQL/T-SQL experience (useful for understanding and triaging data issues)
  • Background working for a specialist healthcare data or migration consultancy/vendor

If you're an experienced Technical Project Manager who enjoys leading complex NHS delivery programmes and working closely with technical teams, don't hesitate to apply now.
