We’re recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-profile UK public sector programme within the law enforcement sector. You’ll work closely with operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams to define requirements, improve processes, and ensure solutions deliver clear outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements (epics/user stories, BRDs, acceptance criteria).
- Run workshops/interviews with stakeholders to uncover needs, constraints, and priorities.
- Create process maps (“as-is/to-be”), identify improvements, and support operational optimisation.
- Translate complex information into clear insights, reports and recommendations.
- Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding.
- Support delivery through build/test/implementation, ensuring outputs meet the agreed need.
- Maintain strong documentation, traceability, and change control throughout the lifecycle.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering change within the law enforcement sector. Strong analytical and communication skills (including workshop facilitation). Experience with process mapping and requirements management. Comfortable working in sensitive environments with multiple stakeholders. Law enforcement / policing / justice domain experience. Active SC & NPPV3 clearance (current and transferable). Previously held DV clearance. Relevant BA certifications (e.g., BCS, IIBA/CBAP, PMI-PBA).
