Onsite iO Associates seeks a Building and Construction Project Leader for the Broughton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation and space systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery including planning, risk management, CAPEX business cases, and coordination through to project close.
- Prepare detailed design briefs, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for building services, refurbishment, and plant replacement projects.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and design teams while developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee site installations, ensuring technical compliance, health & safety standards, and effective use of tools like MS Project, SharePoint, and G Suite.
Skills
- Proven leadership in managing Multi-Functional Project Teams (MFT), including external consultants, with strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Extensive experience in capital investment and FM project delivery, particularly in refurbishing existing buildings and managing small to medium-sized engineering projects.
- Skilled in translating client briefs into construction scopes, from feasibility through design to handover, with hands-on knowledge of M&E systems and plant.
- Holds ONC/HNC in Building Services or equivalent, with professional membership (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE) and a strong focus on safety, security, and compliance.
