We're supporting a major programme seeking an experienced SC Cleared Security Architect to join a growing architecture capability. This role would suit someone with a strong Defence background with proven expertise in Secure by Design principles, stakeholder engagement, and security architecture across large-scale technology programmes.
You'll work closely with clients, delivery teams, and external stakeholders to shape secure solution architectures, support assurance activities, influence security strategy, and drive best practice across the full delivery lifecycle.
Key experience:
- Strong Security Architecture background within secure / Defence environments
- Experience with Secure by Design approaches and security assurance
- Excellent relationship-building, customer-facing and proactive communication skills
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and external customers
- Threat modelling, risk assessment, and secure architecture experience
- Deep understanding of security concepts and demonstrated application to technical solutions
- Experience within Defence, Central Government, or similarly secure environments
- Active SC clearance
Nice to have:
- SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM or similar certifications
- Sparx EA experience
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud security, OWASP, and NCSC principles
- Secure software development knowledge (.NET / Java)
