We're hiring an Integration Engineer to join a growing health technology business delivering modern solutions across the UK and Ireland. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong HL7 experience and a background in healthcare systems integration to join a fast-moving team working on meaningful, high-impact projects.
You'll be responsible for building and supporting integrations between a cloud-based platform and core healthcare systems, working closely with customer technical teams to ensure reliable, secure and scalable deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining interfaces across healthcare systems
- Supporting new customer deployments
- Investigating and resolving issues across data flow, connectivity and message handling
- Working with customer-side technical teams during implementation, testing and go-live
- Helping define repeatable integration processes to support future growth
- Contributing to technical documentation and interface specifications
- Playing a broader part in a collaborative team where engineering, product and operational thinking all come together
Skills:
- Strong experience delivering integrations in healthcare environments
- Solid background working with HL7 v2.x
- Good understanding of healthcare workflows and the movement of patient and clinical data between systems
- Experience working with systems such as RIS, LIMS, PAS or EPR
- Comfortable handling connectivity and infrastructure-related integration challenges, including secure network communications
- Ability to diagnose problems methodically and work across technical layers to resolve them
- Experience working with healthcare organisations in the UK or Ireland
- A practical, adaptable approach and the confidence to operate in a growing business environment
- Exposure to FHIR would be highly beneficial
