Contract - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Supply Chain Consultant

Location: UK / Remote

Duration: 12 months initially

Start: ASAP / April/May start possible

Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)

The Opportunity:

We are supporting a consultancy delivering multiple SAP S/4HANA Cloud programmes across the UK and Europe, and are looking for an experienced SAP Public Cloud Supply Chain Consultant to join an upcoming implementation. This is a genuine Public Cloud delivery role - working within SAP's Fit-to-Standard framework rather than traditional customised ERP implementations. The project involves guiding the client through standard supply chain processes in S/4HANA Public Cloud, helping shape how logistics and operational processes run in a modern SaaS ERP environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You'll operate as the Supply Chain SME within the Public Cloud programme, working closely with business stakeholders and solution architects.
  • Leading Fit-to-Standard workshops for supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Configuring supply chain scope using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
  • Delivering Public Cloud processes across areas such as:
    • Procure-to-Pay
    • Order-to-Cash
    • Inventory and fulfilment
    • Warehouse and delivery processing
  • Advising on clean-core process design and Public Cloud best practices.
  • Supporting testing cycles, data validation and go-live preparation.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the business during design and adoption.

What We're Looking For:

This role is best suited to consultants who have already delivered S/4HANA Public Cloud projects. Key experience:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations.
  • Strong background across SAP logistics / supply chain processes (MM, SD, Inventory, Fulfilment).
  • Experience running Fit-to-Standard workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Configuration experience using SAP Central Business Configuration.
  • Comfortable working within the constraints and best practices of Public Cloud delivery.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GROW with SAP programmes.
  • Exposure to integration scenarios with logistics partners or external WMS.
  • Understanding of clean-core and extensibility principles.

Why This Role:

  • Work on true Public Cloud implementations rather than ECC migrations.
  • Join a team specialising in modern SAP Cloud ERP delivery.
  • Long-term programme pipeline across multiple clients.
  • Opportunity to shape how businesses adopt standardised SAP cloud processes.
