A leading aerospace engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Analysis Engineer to support stress analysis of aerostructures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge programmes involving composite and metallic structures, contributing to innovative design solutions in the aerospace sector.

As an Analysis Engineer, you will be performing stress analysis on composite and metallic structures, including strength, stiffness, buckling, and damage tolerance. Utilising FEA tools like Nastran/Patran and Simcenter 3D to support structural design of components such as wingboxes and load interfaces. Producing detailed technical documentation, including stress reports and certification justifications.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in stress analysis, ideally in aerospace.
  • Proficiency in classical methods and FEA tools (Nastran/Patran, Simcenter 3D).
  • Solid understanding of composite and metallic structures.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse design data (interfaces, dimensions, materials, assemblies, tolerances).
  • Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
