6 Month contract with potential extension

London: 3 Days onsite

Our client is a technology-led consultancy delivering advanced AI, software and digital transformation programmes across the UK Defence and National Security sector. They are supporting the development of a number of AI-enabled capabilities for Defence customers, ranging from decision-support tools and data-driven platforms to emerging technologies within autonomy, simulation and uncrewed systems.

As part of continued programme growth, they require an AI Product Manager to help define, shape and deliver next generation products from concept through to operational deployment. This role will sit at the intersection of technology, engineering and end user requirements, ensuring complex AI capabilities are translated into scalable, mission focused products that provide measurable value to Defence stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Own product strategy, roadmap and delivery priorities across AI enabled products and platforms
  • Work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Solution Architects to define and deliver new capabilities
  • Translate user needs and operational requirements into product features, backlogs and delivery plans
  • Drive product development from discovery and experimentation through to deployment and adoption
  • Engage with Defence stakeholders, technical teams and programme leadership to align delivery against strategic objectives
  • Support the development of emerging capabilities across AI, autonomy, decision support and advanced software platforms
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve capability and outcomes

Key requirements:

  • Strong Product Management experience delivering complex digital, software or data products
  • Experience working alongside Engineering, Data Science or AI teams
  • Proven ability to define product roadmaps and manage stakeholders across large programmes
  • Experience taking products from concept and discovery through to live deployment
  • Strong understanding of Agile product delivery methodologies
  • Experience operating within complex, regulated or security conscious environments
  • Active SC Clearance - last used within the previous 12 months
  • Experience within Defence, National Security or Central Government
  • Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Simulation, Robotics, Autonomous Systems or Uncrewed Platforms
  • Experience delivering products within cloud native or data rich environments
