PMO ManagerSalary: £50,000 – £60,000Location: Alderley Edge – HybridWe're looking for an experienced PMO Manager to join a growing consultancy, supporting the successful delivery of transformation programmes across a range of Public Sector clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading and developing PMO functions, driving governance standards, and supporting complex project and programme delivery across a varied portfolio.
What You'll Be DoingLeading and developing the PMO function across multiple projects and programmes.
Overseeing governance, reporting, RAID management, and project controls.
Producing portfolio reporting, executive dashboards, and management information.
Supporting project planning, resource management, and delivery assurance activities.
Facilitating governance meetings and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
Driving PMO best practice and continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
Working closely with senior leadership to provide visibility of programme performance, risks, and dependencies.
What We're Looking ForPrevious experience working as a PMO Manager within complex project or programme environments.
Strong knowledge of PMO governance, project controls, and delivery frameworks.
Experience producing portfolio reporting, management information, and executive-level dashboards.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders.
Experience supporting planning, resource management, risk, issue, and dependency management activities.
Strong experience using tools such as MS Project, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps.
Government or wider Public Sector experience is highly desirable. A proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and drive PMO maturity.
