We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join Our Client's team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the energy sector, supporting sustainable energy transitions while maintaining a strong presence in oil and gas. Our Client specializes in delivering high-quality engineering solutions focused on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The successful candidate will be integral to delivering engineering solutions from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet technical standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. This role involves participating in technical studies, supporting offshore surveys, monitoring supplier performance, and preparing documentation.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or master's in engineering with at least 5 years' experience
- Proficiency in 3D design software (Inventor/E3D) and structural calculations (Ansys, STAAD, Sesam GeniE)
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Knowledge of offshore fabrication and standards such as Norsok, DNV, Eurocode
- Fluent in English and Norwegian; able to work independently and in teams
- Relevant certificates or additional qualifications
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with offshore survey and installation
