iO Associates are partnered with a Software Development Consultancy routed in the Public Sector, who are looking for a hands-on SC Cleared Azure Support Engineer to support enterprise IT systems across on-prem, private, and public cloud platforms.
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
What you\’ll do:
- Resolve incidents and major incidents within SLA.
- Investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
- Support enterprise IT services, ensuring availability, security, and integrity.
- Collaborate with project teams to transition new services into support.
- Maintain clear documentation and knowledge articles.
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers.
- Occasionally perform on-site tasks such as hardware swaps or patching.
What you\’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Windows Server (2012 R2-2022), Active Directory (multi-forest/domain).
- Office 365 setup and administration.
- Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V).
- SAN and clustering technologies (Dell, HP).
- Exposure to SQL troubleshooting and Microsoft System Center (SCOM).
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied, hands-on role, solving complex issues across diverse technologies. This will be a remote-first role with very occasional travel to London, Leeds or Bristol and will be paying up to £55,000 per annum with additional pay for being involved in an on-call rota.
