Job Description iO Associates have partnered with a global food manufacturer based in High Wycombe in their search for a Product Development Technologist. As the Product Development Technologist you will be supporting the product development team in managing and creating product options from marketing briefs and you’ll be give small design projects (usually flavour variations). In this entry level role you will be getting involved with things like planning, implementing and reviewing product development trials at any scale, from bench work to full scale factory trials. You will also be presenting samples to marketing and translating feedback into recipe and/or process developments. In addition to this you will be producing draft product costs for comparative purposes. Crucially you will raise any technical or project related issues that might affect quality, cost or time of delivery with your line manager.
