Job title: P6 Planner
Location: Aldermaston, Reading, UK

Salary: Up to £50 per hour Inside IR35
Job type: 6-12 months' contract

An experienced P6 Planner is required to work with a top international consulting firm for design, engineering, and project management. They work in the infrastructure industry. By utilising virtual, interactive, collaborative, data-rich technology, they assist clients in making better decisions for challenging tasks.

You bring proven knowledge and experience in:

• Provide planning expertise and EV deliverables across supported projects.
• Experience using Primavera P6.
• Implement planning processes, policies, and procedures.
• Lead long-range integrated programme planning activities.
• Support Planning Lead and Project Controls Manager on new projects.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and uphold high EHS&Q standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver project planning and EVM analysis using Primavera P6 to support accurate schedule forecasting.
• Conduct high-quality EV variance analysis (SPI) for performance tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, policies, and guidelines.
• Support deployment of planning tools, EVMS, templates, and team training.
• Review and recommend changes to the project WBS with the Project Controls Manager.
