SC, DV, eDV Cloud Resourcing Specialist | Defence and National Security
Solution Architects with active DV Clearance and deep expertise in Azure infrastructure design, IaC skills, and DevOps methodologies to support defence-oriented technology deployments and cutting-edge platform integrations.
You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimising secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments, while integrating novel technologies into production systems.
Salary : Β£80,000 – Β£110,000 (depending on seniority, +stock options)
Location : Hereford (1-2 days / week on-site)
Clearance : Active DV Clearance required
Key Skills:
- Azure architecture, engineering, and DevOps
- Networking (VPNs, firewalls, routing)
- Go (or strong Python, willing to learn Go)
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication
- Experience with secure/defence environments preferred
- Azure certifications are highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Lead Azure Landing Zone architecture and governance.
- Mentor engineering team and drive continuous improvement.
- Design secure, scalable, cost-effective Azure solutions.
- Own architecture decisions and stakeholder engagement.
- Deploy infrastructure using IaC (Bicep, Terraform).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Integrate emerging tech into legacy/hybrid environments.
- Drive monitoring, capacity planning, and cost control.
- Coordinate with partners and vendors on secure solutions.
