6-Month Initial Contract
Up To £35ph DOE (Inside IR35)
Location: Gloucestershire
I am looking for a highly experienced CMM Programmer to support my Aerospace client for 6-months ensuring all CMM programs are verified and updated in accordance with the latest engineering drawings and CAD data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and update legacy CMM programs to reflect current best practices and support accurate inspection.
- Conduct Gauge R&R studies and prepare validation reports to assess program conformance to requirements.
- Review existing inspection methods, recommend improvements, and update or create control plans accordingly.
- Support CMM programming by generating CATIA V5 models for legacy parts and contributing to fixture design and setup planning.
- Utilise CATIA V5 for modelling and assembly tasks, with additional exposure to machining prove-outs considered advantageous.
