A Senior / Principal / Lead C&I Engineer is needed by iO Associates to work with a leading global design, engineering, and project management consulting company. They are employed in the infrastructure sector. Through the use of data-rich, virtual, interactive, and collaborative technologies, they help clients make more informed decisions for difficult jobs.
As a Senior/Principal C&I Engineer at our company, we are seeking a flexible individual who can manage multiple C&I engineers to complete a multidisciplinary project or work on multiple small projects.

You bring proven knowledge and experience in:

  • Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, control, or a related field and Chartered status (or pursuing CEng status) with an appropriate professional organisation.
  • Outstanding technical writing abilities and expertise in creating standard C&I deliverables, including as calculations, concepts, specifications, datasheets, and technical notes.
  • ESD/control valves and process instrumentation (flow, temperature, pressure, and flow) are specified and chosen.
  • Alarm management, cyber security, and functional safety.
  • DSEAR (Fire and Gas Detection Systems) and Hazardous Area Protection Concepts.
  • Oil & gas experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out and directing technical project delivery (C&I engineering scope).
  • Working together on design projects with other disciplines.
  • Preserving connections with clients.
  • Delivering top-notch technical guidance to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentoring and supervising juniors.
