Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the full stack - web, mobile, APIs, integrations
- Design and implement scalable systems that can handle significant transaction volume (think millions in sales on launch day)
- Work closely with the founder on product decisions and technical direction
- Establish engineering practices, tooling, and processes as the team grows
- Integrate with third-party ticketing providers and payment systems
- Help hire and onboard future engineers
Qualifications
- Strong experience with TypeScript and PostgreSQL
- Comfortable working across the full stack - you can build a clean UI and design a solid database schema
- Experience building systems that scale - you’ve dealt with load, reliability, and performance challenges
- Proficient at using AI tools to write code efficiently - this is how we move fast with a small team
- Pragmatic and product-minded - you care about shipping things that work for users, not just elegant code
- Happy working with ambiguity and taking ownership of problems end-to-end
- Experience with Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, D1, etc.) is a strong plus
- Experience with Retool or similar internal tooling is a plus
