By partnering with world class carriers and with the expertise of our very own in-house Shipping Specialists, we find solutions for all our customers' shipping needs. Our award-winning software offers a one-stop shop from which you can ship everything from documents to parcels and boxes to pallets.

This is a hybrid role based at our offices in Cheriton Bishop between Exeter and Okehampton in Devon. We are extremely flexible and can accommodate individual employee's needs and would consider a four day week for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who can hit the ground running and use their initiative to develop new sales channels. The key focus will be to increase the company’s existing and impressive base of business to business customers. The successful candidate will report directly to the Franchise Manager and must have previous logistics experience and ideally some experience working with eCommerce companies.

Required Attributes:

  • Sales, Business Development and Relationship Management skills
  • Experience in generating leads, networking, and closing sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the logistics or shipping industry is a distinct advantage
  • Experience of working with eCommerce stores very desirable

Salary and Benefits:

  • Basic Salary of £35,000 to £40,000 DOE
  • £5,000 Car Allowance
  • Open Ended Commission with no upper limit. OTE in first year = c£60,000.
  • One to one coaching, looking to ensure you get the most from the role and deliver the best possible performance

Responsibilities:

  • Meet pre-determined and agreed annual sales targets
  • Generate new leads via a variety of means, including phoning, emailing and making the most of all the main online platforms
  • Build a sales pipeline of hot prospects and convert this to trading customers
  • Work with your manager to identify potential customers and understand their shipping requirements
  • Use MS Teams to carry out online demos of the company’s innovative and cutting-edge software portal
  • Negotiate business terms with new customers, over the phone, via email and occasionally face-to-face
