Our client is a leading strategy consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the life sciences industry, with a London office serving European and global clients. Within the firm, this role sits in the practice that supports private equity investors and corporate acquirers through the deal lifecycle, from pre-deal commercial due diligence and vendor assistance through to post-close strategy and value creation support.
Our client is expanding their freelance associate network to flex capacity across live deal and strategy engagements, and is looking for experienced, deal-ready consultants who can be deployed at short notice on high-quality, fast-paced projects.
The Role
- Our client is seeking an experienced freelance consultant to join project teams on Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence engagements within Healthcare able to produce polished, client-ready PowerPoint outputs with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable conducting primary research, including structuring and leading expert/stakeholder interviews.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver to tight deadlines as part of a distributed/flexible team.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Deep expertise in a specific HLS sub-sector (e.g., specialty pharma, medtech, healthcare services/providers, digital health, CDMO/CRO, diagnostics).
- Existing relationships with private equity clients, healthcare investors, or industry expert networks.
- Experience with healthcare-specific regulatory, reimbursement, and payer landscape analysis (UK/EU and/or US).
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (life sciences, business, health economics, etc.).
- Availability for short-notice deployment and flexibility to scale time commitment up/down with deal flow.
