Principal Digital Workplace Technologist - Contract
Rate: Up to £800 per day
Duration: 12 months
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a fortnight in either London or Manchester
BPSS and SC eligible required | Active SC preferred
On behalf of a central government client, we're looking for an experienced Digital Workplace Technologist to help shape and deliver modern workplace services across government. You'll bring strong Microsoft 365 and digital workplace expertise, with experience leading complex public-sector transformation. The role will focus on M365, Copilot and wider workplace technologies, assessing solutions and helping organisations improve productivity and collaboration.
Essential Experience
- 6+ years' experience in digital workplace, M365 or end-user computing.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot and Microsoft Entra.
- Experience delivering complex workplace transformations at scale.
- Central government or significant public-sector experience.
- Knowledge of RBAC, cloud hygiene, Windows Server and virtual desktop.
- Experience evaluating technical proposals and working with technology suppliers.
- Ability to assess AI opportunities and support adoption across organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
