A leading Consultancy client of ours are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst, with active enhanced DV clearance, to undertake an initial 12-month contract engagement.
In this role you will help shape and implement data standards and governance across the organisation, working with teams across architecture, product, and information management to align policy with data strategy. This role is outside IR35, with occasional London on-site working requirements.
Experience requirements & Responsibilities:
- Develop and support data standards (labelling, lineage, discovery).
- Ensure policies are embedded across data architecture and platforms.
- Collaborate to drive interoperability and consistent governance.
- Experience with data standards, modelling, and interoperability.
- Ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and self-management skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and public sector data practices.
- Experience with metadata tools, ontologies, data platforms (e.g. lakes, meshes).
- Use of tools like Visio, Sparx, or frameworks like TOGAF.
- Knowledge of technical specs, data catalogues, and standards assurance.
