A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PRINCE2), with a strong background in infrastructure delivery and stakeholder management, to lead a global networking/server upgrade programme. The role requires a proven track record of delivering IT infrastructure projects within LAN, server, and networking environments, ensuring effective governance, planning, and delivery.

Experience requirements:

  • Proven Project Management experience delivering Networking / Server upgrades and implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, server environments, Active Directory, and networking protocols
  • Proficient in PRINCE2 (Practitioner) - governance, stage planning, risk/issue management, and project documentation (PID, progress reports, lessons learned, etc.)
  • Ability to manage technical teams (network engineers, solution architects) and align delivery with business objectives
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement - building trust and managing expectations with customers, technical staff, and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure) within budget and time constraints
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear business deliverables
