Involved Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to support a high-profile government client in the delivery of integrated information governance, records management, and knowledge systems. The Knowledge and Information Manager is a strategically important role requiring on-site presence in both London and Milton Keynes, working across systems and departments to ensure that data, intellectual property and records are managed compliantly and efficiently. The Knowledge and Information Manager position will suit an accomplished information governance specialist to engage with senior stakeholders, advise on best practice, and ensure that organisational knowledge is structured, accessible, and protected.
Key Responsibilities - Knowledge and Information Manager
- Oversight of designated knowledge and information systems, ensuring integration and strategic alignment.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data governance, knowledge architecture, records management, and IP handling.
- Actively engage with stakeholders across departments to embed records and information management best practices via the Information Asset Register.
- Attend and contribute to senior stakeholder meetings.
- Deliver day-to-day advice and operational support across knowledge and information management areas.
Essential Skills & Experience - Knowledge and Information Manager
- Technical understanding of structuring information using taxonomies, metadata standards, glossaries, and dictionaries.
- Demonstrated experience with content management systems and database structuring.
- Deep working knowledge across the following domains:
- Information Architecture
- Information Management
- Records Management
- Data Governance
- Risk Management
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Relevant Level 3 RQF qualification or equivalent professional certification.
