A leading Central Government department are seeking an EUC Hardware Engineer, to provide hardware and deskside support. This is an initial 6-month contract. DV Clearance required.

Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues across laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
  • Strong understanding of hardware architecture, component compatibility.
  • Knowledge of secure hardware handling practices, including data sanitization and destruction protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience in hardware installation, configuration, and lifecycle management in enterprise or government environments.
  • Previous work in secure or classified environments, adhering to strict data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with secure disposal of data-bearing devices in compliance with organisational and legal standards.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated hardware solutions.
  • Experience managing hardware assets within ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building and supporting of hardware systems across the organization.
  • Covers end-to-end hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, configuration, testing, and secure disposal.
