A Government organisation is seeking an SC Cleared Project Assurance Officer to support the delivery of a major PMO transformation programme. You will be responsible for providing project assurance, governance oversight, and performance reporting across a diverse project portfolio, helping to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed time, cost, and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct project assurance reviews and health checks across multiple projects
  • Support governance, compliance, and project control activities
  • Monitor and maintain RAID logs, action trackers, and assurance documentation
  • Produce project reporting, dashboards, KPI metrics, and management information
  • Support project financial tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting
  • Assist with assurance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with Project Managers to identify and mitigate delivery risks
  • Support the embedding of PMO standards, governance, and best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a PMO, Project Support, or Project Assurance environment
  • Knowledge of project governance, assurance, and control frameworks
  • Experience managing RAID logs, reporting, and project documentation
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience supporting project financial management and reporting
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently whilst supporting multiple stakeholders
  • SC Clearance required or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance
