Responsibilities for the 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer:
- Deliver hands-on support across a range of business critical systems, ensuring stability, high performance and rapid issue resolution.
- Maintain and enhance core infrastructure services, including servers, virtual environments, storage platforms and security controls whilst also assisting with 2nd line tasks when required.
- Take ownership of improving monitoring, reliability and visibility across key operational systems.
- Support the rollout of new technical solutions, contributing to planning, configuration and smooth integration into the wider estate.
- Work closely with teams across the business to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical actions.
- Uphold best practices in system administration, security, documentation and change control.
